One of the upcoming talented young winemakers from Burgundy, Jane Eyre is certainly our favorites, The style is elegant, slightly on the sensual and perfumed side, highlighting all that a Burgundy should be. The wine is often made with used oak and a forward style, allowing us to taste the pure elegant of the pinot without much interference from the oak. It can be drank beautifully young with the freshness that can rarely be found elsewhere.
Jane made history as the first woman and first Australian to win the prestigious Négociant of the Year award from La Revue du Vin de France in 2021. Based in Burgundy, she is celebrated as the "Princess of Pinot" for her elegant, high-quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, produced as a micro-négociant.
Tasting of the wine will be accompanied with a 4-course dinner prepared by Chef Masashi Okamoto of Shola. Spaces are limited to 15 guests.
Cost: JPY 32,000 per person. Cost is all-inclusive of the wine and dinner.
Participants can stay overnight at Shishi-Iwa House at a discount of 15% normal room rate.
