The whisky tasting was fun and informative and was held just behind the bar. The morning waterfall hike was breathtaking and also extra special because it's a rather local hike as opposed to the touristy one.

We enjoyed our stay very much. There's quite a bit to do in the area - hikes, waterfall, onsen etc., so we are already planning our next trip. A great escape in the summer from the blazing heat of Tokyo, and I hear it's amazing in the snowy winter too.
