The trail starting from the slopes of Mt. Asama offers a stunning combination of natural beauty, volcanic history, and spiritual significance. This hike spans 8 kilometres, beginning at an elevation of 1,400 meters with an elevation gain of approximately 1,000 meters.
The summit was dramatically shaped by an eruption in 1873, creating a powerful spiritual connection between the mountain and its reverent people.
